SSR extensively interviewed staff to gain insight into the Home’s history, the health care team, and the kinds of care available. We compiled a glossary of long-term care to help people identify the most suitable facility. The result was an elegant 9"-by-14" brochure that conveyed, in words and design, the compassionate and upbeat attitude at this Washington institution, founded in 1888. "We never stop growing and developing," reads the brochure. "Even when our personal situations change, we can go on to discover new meaning in life, make new friends, and find new ways to achieve." ________________
